Yesterday evening we went for a shopping trip to Puerto Rico just about a half an hour walk away. I got a few really nice things that I’ll be showing to you a bit later. I ended up only taking one book with me, James Dashner’s The Scorch Trials, because usually when I take more than one book I only read one and now I’d still have a week left to start on the third book. It’s almost been a week now and it terrifies me how fast the time flies. On a different note as you’ve probably noticed my red hair’s been fading and I was thinking about keeping the color for a longer time because I really think it suits me and everyone else has also commented that it looks good on me, what do you think should I keep the color?

Eilen iltapäivällä menimme shoppailemaan Puerto Ricoon vain noin puolentunnin kävelymatkan päässä hotelliltamme. Ostin pari tosi ihanaa asustetta ja vaatetusta mitkä näytän teille vähän myöhemmin. Päätin ottaa vain yhden kirjan mukaan matkalle, James Dashnerin The Scorch Trials, koska yleensä kun olen ottanut enemmän kuin yhden kirjan mukaan niin olen silti lukenut vain yhden ja nytten minulla olisi kokonainen viikko jäljellä. Nyt on jo viikko mennyt ja se pelotta minua miten nopeasti ajka menee. Asiasta toiseen niin kuten olette varmaan huomanneet niin punainen hiusten värini on alkanut haalistua pois, niin olen ajatellut että pitäisin värn vähän pidemmäksi aikaa koska mielestäni se sopii minulle aika hyvin ja kaikki muut ovat myös kommentoineet että väri näyttää hyvältä päälläni, mitä mieltä olette pitäisikö minun pitää väri?

Yesterday we went to this Indian restaurant just five minutes from the hotel. The food again was so delicious and I hate leaving food if I like it so I really stuffed myself this time. The shirt I’m wearing I’ve made myself and I’m really proud of how it turned out, because I’m usually very critical when it comes to what I make. Even though it’s warm here it get colder towards the night so I took my Noa Noa sweater that’s made out of mohair and wool and if you have sensitive skin it won’t itch.

Eilen kävimme syömässä Intialaisessa ravintolassa noin viiden minuutin päässä hotellista. Ruoka oli taas tosi hyvää ja inhoan jättää hyvää ruokaa lautaselle niin täytin itsen ihan täyteen tällä kertaa. Paita joka minulla on päällä olen itse tehnyt ja olen hyvin tyytyväinen mimmonen siitä tuli, koska olen yleensä hyvin kriittinen kaikessa mitä teen itse. Vaikka täällä on päivällä hyvin lämmintä niin iltaa kohti kyllä viilenee, niin päätin heittää päälle tämän Noa Noan villapaidan joka sisältää mohairia ja villaa ja jos sinulla on herkkä iho niin kun minulla niin se ei kutita ytään.

On Saturday evening we walked to Puerto Rico and eat at this really great restaurant next to the sea. There I tasted for the first time Paella which was heavenly. The view on the way there and back was so pretty whit its sunset as you can see down below. I struggled with this outfit because I usually feel uncomfortable in white, but this time I was okay with it. I think the detailing on the pants is a great touch to a pair of white jeans if you don’t want them ripped. I also chose them because it was a bit chilly that evening. I just have to add that even though I'm not a sun person the sun feels extremely nice after living in a coal mine for a couple of months.

Lauantai iltapäivänä kävelimme Puerto Ricoon ja söimme tosi mukavassa ravintolassa meren äärellä. Siellä maistoin ekaa kertaa Paellaa joka oli jumalattoman hyvää. Maisema oli tosi kaunis aurikolaskuineen matkalla sinne ja takaisin kuten näette tuossa yläpuolella. Minulla oli vaikeuksia tämän asun kanssa koska normaalisti minua ahdistaa käyttää valkoisia vaatteita, mutta mielestäni tämä kävi. Mielestäni yksityiskohdat farkuissani ovat jotai pientä kivaa valkoisiin farkkuihin jos et halua käyttää revittyjä farkkuja. Valitsin ne myös koska oli vähän viileä ilta. Minun on vain pakko lisätä että vaikka en ole mikään aurinko ihminen niin kyllä se aurinko tuntuun tosi ihanalta nytten kun on asunut hiilikellarissa parin kuukauden aikana.

OF TO GRAN CANARIA

On Thursday evening we started our trip to the Gran Canaries with my family. I was wearing the outfit in the pictures except for the shoes that I bought on Monday and when I saw them in the shop I instantly fell in love with them and just had to have them. I think this outfit is really chic and edgy and that’s what I love about it, it’s really me.

Torstai iltapäivällä aloitimme perheeni kanssa matkamme Kanariansaaria kohti. Minulla oli päällä asu jonka näette kuvassa, paitsi kengät jotka ostin maanantaina, ja kun näin ne kaupassa rakastuin heti niihin ja oli ihan pakko ostaa ne. Mielestäni tämä asu on hyvin chic ja edgy ja sentaki tykkään tästä asusta hyvin paljon, se on niin minun tyyliäni.

It was really nice to get away from the rainy Finland, I actually like the snow in the winter and it’s a part of Christmas even though I’m not that fond of it. I’ve never been that keen on taking sun or the unbearable heat, so instead of laying on the beach like the rest of my family I’m going to be working out at the gym, taking a lot of pictures and studying. I’m going to be writing my Finnish final exam in the spring and because I don’t get al the courses at the high school I have to study a lot by myself.

On another note I just bought my Hollywood Undead ticket on Monday and I’m already so stoked for the concert, so I was thinking that I would do a concert post like the one I did about Bullet for my Valentine. Comment down if you’d like one.

I’m sorry that it took this long for this post to come up there were some problems with the internet connection.

Oli kyllä tosi mukavaa pästä pois kylmästä ja sateisesta Suomesta, minusta lumi on mukava olla talvella ja se kuuluu jouluun, vaikka en itse pidä joulusta erikoisen paljon. En ole erikoisen innostunut makamaan auringossa tai sietämättömästä kuumudesta, niin sensiaan että makaisin perheeni kanssa rannalla paahtumassa niin aion käydä salilla treenaamassa, ottamassa paljon kuvia ja myös opiskella vähän. Tulen kirjoittamaan Suomen keväällä ja koska teen kaksoistutkinnon minun pitää opiskella aika paljon omalla ajalla.

Muussa mielessä niin ostin maanantaina Hollywood Undead lippuni ja olen todella innostunut konsertista, niin ajattelin että voisin tehdä samanlaisen blog postauksen kun tein Bullet for my Valentinin konsertista. Kommentoikaa jos haluatte semmoisen.

Pahoittelen että kesti näin kauan kunnes sain tämän posti laitettua ylös, minulla oli vähän ongelmia internet yhteyksen kanssa.

EARLY CHRISTMAS

On Sunday my family and my grandparents had our Christmas dinner, because we are taking a family trip to Gran Canaria over Christmas. I think it's going to be fun to take a break from the cold and rainy Finland, even though it's only about 20°C there it's much better then here. Otherwise I've been quite busy because I was in high school for a period and I had to focus all my energy on school because I'm taking a double Degree and it's a lot harder that just going to high school, because there is so much that you have to learn on your own time. I'm also excited that I'm half through my studies and then I get to do what I really love, going to fashion design school :D. I also really love this shirt, what do you think? 
PS. I'll try to post as much as I can from my trip, and I'll probably also post some pictures that I'm taking for my photography class.  

Sunnuntaina pidimme perheeni ja isovanhempieni kanssa joulu päivällisen, koska olemme lähdössä perhematkalle Gran Canarialle joulun yli. Luulen että siitä tulee tosi ihanaa pitää tauko tästä kylmästä ja sateisesta säästä, vaikka siellä on vain 20 astetta se on parempi kuin täällä. Muuten olen kyllä ollut aika kiireinen koska käyn kaksoistutkinnon ja minun piti fokusoida kaikki energiani lukioon. Olen myös innoissani siitä että olen puoli välissä opintojani ja sitten pääsen tekemään mitä rakastan, vaatesuunnittelua :D. Pidän myös tosi paljon paidastani, mitä pidätte?
Ps. Yritän poustata niin paljon kuin mahdollista matkan aikana, ja luultavasti tulen myös poustata pari kuvaa mitä otan valokuvaus kurssiani varten.

 

 

The food was so delicious, my sister prepared the whole dinner. There were about seven different first and main courses and four desserts. My whole family is vegetarian so we've never eaten any traditional Christmas food and I think it's more fun that way because we can just chose what to eat every year instead of just eating the same thing every year. Next weekend we're going to my other grandparents to stuff ourselves with food :D

Ruoka oli tosi herkullista, siskonu oli valmistanut koko illallisen. Oli noin seitsemän eri alku ja pääruokaa ja viisi jälkiruokaa. Kaikki perheessäni on kasvissyöjiä niin emme ole ikinä syönyt perinteistä jouluruokaa ja mielestäni se on paljon kivempaa kun voi valita mitä syö joka vuosi sensiaan että syö samaa perinneruokaa joka vuosi. Ensi viikonloppuna menemme tosille isovanhemmileni syömään paljon herkkuja :D

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE

Hi, last Thursday me and a few of my friends went to see Bullet for my Valentine. This was my first concert ever so I was really excited about what it would bee like. We were in the beginning of the line and got great places in the middle from the second row :). The first outfit is what I was wearing at the concert, and the second just another idea of what I could have worn. I left my bag and jacket at the hangers, but I saw some girls taking their bags with them inside and that's something that I don't recommend because you won't be able to jump around all you want and if you do the bag will disrupt others. 

Moikka, viime viikon tostaina kävin Bullet for my Valentinein keikalla parin kaverin kanssa. Tämä oli ensimmäinen keikkani niin olin tosi innoissani siitä että millaista se on. Olimme jonon alussa ja pääsimme keskelle tokaan riviin :). Ensimmäinen asu oli mitä minulla oli konsertissa päällä ja toka vain toinen vaihtoehto. Jätin laukun ja takin narikkaan, mutta näin pari tyttöä  jotka ottivat heidän laukut mukaan sisälle ja se on jotain mitä en ehdota koska et tule pystymään hyppiä yhtä paljon kun sulla on laukku joka heiluu mukana ja se voi myös häiritä muita.

I'm really great full that I'm tall because if you are really tiny others will start pushing you away and take your place. They had two warm-up bands, the first was Cold Rain and the second While she Sleeps they were both great. In the beginning I was in the second row but before bullet for my Valentine come out this really big dude pushed me out of my spot and put his girlfriend there. I think this was really rude and I got kinda mad but then I just took my way to the second row from the other side instead. My advise for you is that don't start like some kind of fight or anything but you should stand your ground if somebody tries to take your place and try to get your way through sneaky instead of pushing people away and getting them mad. All in all I really loved the concert and we are still talking about it with my friends :).

PS. Do you like my new hair?

Olen tosi iloinen että olen pitkä koska jos olet tosi pieni niin sinua on helpompi työntää pois. Heillä oli kaksi lämmitely bändiä, eka oli Cold Rain ja toka While she Sleeps ja olivat molemmat hyviä. Alussa olin tokassa rivissä mutta ennen kun Bullet for my Valentine aloittivat niin yks tosi iso jätkä tönäs mut pois mun paikalta ja laittoi sen tyttöystävän siihen. Mielestäni tämä oli tosi töykeää ja olin vähän vihainen mutta löysin silti toisen tavan päästä toiseen riviin. Neuovoni on ettei kannata aloittaa mitään tapellua asiasta vaan pitää paikkasi ja yritä päästä eteempäin vähän silleen kenenkään huomaamatta sensiaan kun tönimisellä ja saamaan heidät vihaisiksi. Kaikki kaikessa niin rakastin konserttia tosi paljon ja puhumme vieläkin siitä kavereitteni kanssa :).
